Rwanda Development Board (RDB) Chief Executive Officer Jean-Guy Afrika has met with Issa Mehmet N’Diaye, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Imaad Financial Group, to discuss Rwanda’s business environment and emerging investment opportunities.
The meeting, held in Kigali on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, brought together two leaders with a focus on strengthening Rwanda’s position as an attractive destination for investment and expanding opportunities across the country’s economy.
Discussions provided an opportunity to exchange views on Rwanda’s evolving business landscape, investment priorities and the opportunities available to investors seeking to establish or expand their operations in the country.
Imaad Financial Group is a Kigali-based Pan-African investment banking and financial advisory firm led by N’Diaye. Its presence in Rwanda reflects the growing role of financial and investment advisory institutions in supporting businesses and facilitating capital flows across African markets.
For RDB, engagements with investors and financial-sector leaders form part of efforts to promote Rwanda as a competitive investment destination while connecting investors with opportunities aligned with the country’s development priorities.
The discussions also come as Rwanda continues to position itself as a regional hub for investment, finance and business services, supported by efforts to improve the investment climate and attract private-sector capital.
The meeting between Afrika and N’Diaye is expected to contribute to continued dialogue on how investment and financial expertise can support Rwanda’s economic ambitions and unlock new opportunities for businesses and investors.
